New Test Server on Beta Team!

Hello Penguins!

In our developer’s update last week, we mentioned that there would be some new stuff launching on Beta Team. We also said there’d be something a little different to test… We need your help to test out a brand new improvement to the chat system!

We’ve heard that some of you find it hard to chat with friends because of the filters. You asked if we could make it easier to chat with your buddies online.

You asked… and we listened! We’ve made some big improvements for you:

•     Now you’ll see suggested words above the chat bar as you write sentences!
•     You can click the words that appear, and the system will automatically complete the word for you. Now you’ll be able to chat way quicker than before!
•     Tons more phrases than Ultimate Safe Chat… Over 300,000 phrases!

We want your help to test the chat system improvement before we release it on Club Penguin. Let us know what bugs or issues you find by submitting a comment in Beta Team. Remember that it’s a test site, so things may not work the same way that you’re used to (i.e. games, items, newspaper)

You can test the new chat system on Beta Team starting today! Can’t wait to hear what you think.

New Club Penguin Times Issue #305

The Great Snow Race Mini Mission For EPF Agents!

Hello Penguins! As you saw in Happy77′s Sneak Peek video a couple days ago, there is a Mini Mission for all of the EPF Agents! Go back to the room where you had to cut down the log to make a bridge. Waddle over into the room where it says “EPF Only”

In this new room, pick up the free item under the sign “For EPF Agents”

Now you’re ready to go into the next room! Go ahead and leave this area. Once you do so, you will receive a message from Gary.

Use your super-smart penguin skills to complete the maze, and once you finish it, you will enter Herbert’s secret lair! :O

In the classified area, throw snowballs at the boxes in the corner like what you had to do in the EPF HQ:

You will now get an awesome AC 3000 pin!

The Great Snow Race Walkthrough

Hello Penguins! Today The Great Snow Race party has been RELEASED! Here’s a guide in getting to the final destination, or the top of the mountain.

1) Click on the sign in the town, and then press “Go there!”

2) You will be taken to the Ski Village. Waddle on over where prompted You will now be taken into a new room:

3) Now click on the map in the bottom right, and you will see a bunch of Ski goods:

4) Once you purchased the items you like, waddle up into the cave. Now inside the cave you have to click on all the hanging icicles, and the path will appear.

5) Waddle again into the opening and you will be taken into yet another room.

6) Walk up again into the new room. Click on the plant hanging out in the side. Keep clicking it, and it will move the snow off the axe. Now hold the axe, and repeatedly click it again for the log to fall. Throw snowballs on the icicles and it will make the log fly up and then land in the empty space to make a bridge
