Can double post to bump?, 09-19-2010 08:30 AM

The rules state that one cannot double post. However, what if you have/want to bump a thread where you are the last poster? Maybe the thread is a request for help that has to the received before a certain time [e.g. help for Happy Room stamp] but no one is replying?

Is this kind of bumping allowed, when no one's replying?

The 'Double Posting' that is not allowed is when you intentionally make multiple in a row in 5 minutes. I beleive bumping is allowed when nobody is replying. Paintboy100 was trying to say if you can fit it all in one post do it without the multiple spam posts. There is always the 'Edit' button on posts if you left something out.
