My Sims Agents for Nintendo DS and DSI. Help!

Hi! I have gotten to the point where you chase Thief V to his hideout. When I chase him I get a little ways and then he starts running, my character comepletely freezes (it means can't move at all in most games). it ALWAYS happens! I already know where his hideout is though. If you have the game, can you please tell me how to do it?

Thanks anyway! Oh and if you are looking to help,I am having problems when you get to the end (onto the road) and thief v turns to talk down the road.

i just got done with that part when your passing your house then when you see the next turn get onthe tiles behind him then when you get to the part with the logs look for the part tat looks like a u stop there then when you see him on the other side run to catch up but not to close then start walking again
